AI Visibility for iGaming Brands

Players are asking assistants which casino to use. This is how you find out what they’re told.

We track a prompt set you approve across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini, log which sources each answer cites, and work on the three things that actually influence eligibility: entity clarity, quotable content, and placement on the pages those answers already draw from. What we will not do is promise you a citation. Nobody can, there is no submission endpoint, and gambling is the hardest category on the internet for this. Everything we report comes with the prompt, the date, the model and the market it came from.

What you get, in writingEvery programme
  • 01A prompt set you approve firstThe questions your players actually ask, per market and per language, agreed before we track anything. No vendor-chosen prompts picked because they happen to mention you.
  • 02Source-level tracking, not mention countingEvery answer logged with the URLs it cited. Knowing you were not mentioned is worthless. Knowing which three affiliate pages the assistant quoted instead is the whole job.
  • 03A monthly diff with the evidence attachedWhat changed since last month, what we think caused it, and what we are not claiming credit for. Every data point carries its prompt, date, model version and market.

No guaranteed citations. No “AI engine submission”. No screenshot presented as a trend.

Definition

What is AI visibility for iGaming brands?

AI visibility is the practice of measuring how a brand appears in AI-generated answers, and improving the conditions that make it eligible to appear. It is sold under several names, generative engine optimisation, answer engine optimisation, LLM visibility, and the honest description of all of them is the same: you influence eligibility, you do not control selection.

Here is the mechanism, stated plainly. When someone asks an assistant which casino accepts Interac or which sportsbook pays out fastest, the answer is assembled from some combination of training data, live retrieval and the assistant’s own guardrails. You cannot submit to it, you cannot bid on it, and there is no ranking report. What you can do is make sure that when it retrieves, the sources it finds are accurate about you, and that your own pages state facts in a form a model can quote without mangling them.

The link building connection is direct, which is why we offer this and most SEO agencies cannot. Assistants cite pages. In gambling, the pages they cite are overwhelmingly affiliate comparisons, trade coverage and community threads, which are the same publishers we place on every week. Getting your brand accurately represented on the sources an answer already draws from is a placement problem before it is a content problem.

Gambling adds a complication nobody selling this likes to mention. Assistants apply extra caution to gambling queries. In several markets they will refuse to recommend an operator at all, hedge heavily, or answer only the informational half of the question. Any vendor quoting you a citation rate without telling you that has not tested it properly.

We already track AI mentions inside link campaigns. Two of our published case studies report it alongside the traffic and ranking numbers: the Phase Two affiliate campaign and the Spanish affiliate launch.

The uncomfortable part

Why most “AI SEO” offers are nonsense

This is the least mature service in search marketing and the easiest to sell badly. Three things to check before you buy it from anyone, us included.

RISK 01

Guaranteed citations are not a thing that exists

There is no submission endpoint, no index you can be added to, no ranking API and no paid inclusion. A vendor promising your brand will be cited by ChatGPT is either misunderstanding the system or counting on you not to check.

Ask any provider to show you the mechanism behind the guarantee. There isn’t one.

RISK 02

Counting mentions without logging sources is theatre

Answers vary by session, region, account history and model version. One screenshot proves nothing. A mention count with no cited URLs tells you that you lost without telling you to whom.

The useful data is which pages the assistant quoted instead of yours, because that list is an outreach target list, and it is actionable this month.

RISK 03

Gambling is the hardest category for this

Assistants hedge, refuse or restrict gambling recommendations in a way they do not for software or hotels, and behaviour differs sharply by market. Informational prompts about wagering requirements or payout mechanics behave nothing like “which casino should I join”.

We split your prompt set along that line on day one, so you can see where visibility is winnable and where the honest answer is that it is not.

Treated as measurement plus entity work plus placement on cited sources, this is a real service with real leverage. Sold as a guarantee, it is a story with an invoice attached.

Boundaries

What we will not do, at any budget

Two of these are actively sold in this space right now. Both are worth refusing.

  • Guarantee AI citations, mentions, sentiment or rankings
  • Sell “submission to AI engines”, which does not exist
  • Mass-generate thin FAQ pages to bait answer boxes
  • Fabricate reviews, forum posts or threads to manufacture sentiment
  • Report a mention without its prompt, date, model and market
  • Present a single screenshot as a trend
  • Claim credit for movement we cannot evidence
  • Recommend content we would not publish under our own name

The work

The six levers we can actually pull

Nobody controls what an assistant says. These six change what it has to work with, and every one of them is measurable on your own site or in someone else’s.

  1. Entity clarityOne consistent set of brand facts across your site, your schema, your social profiles, trade directories and licence registers. Assistants reconcile conflicting facts by picking one. Give them nothing to reconcile.
  2. Self-contained answersPages that state a fact in a form that survives being quoted alone. “Withdrawals to Interac clear in 2 to 4 hours” is quotable. “We’re proud of our fast payouts” is not.
  3. Placement on the sources already citedThe lever most agencies cannot pull. We log which URLs the answers quote, then treat that list as an outreach target list, because being accurate inside a cited source is the closest thing to direct influence that exists.
  4. Structured data that matches the pageOrganization, FAQ and review markup that agrees with the visible content. Not as a trick, as a machine-readable statement of the same facts.
  5. Third-party corroborationTrade coverage, licence records, review platforms and community threads that say the same things about you. A single self-reported claim carries less weight than three independent ones.
  6. Dates, authorship and freshnessGambling facts expire. Bonus terms, licence status, payment methods and market availability all change, and a page dated three years ago with current claims is a reconciliation problem for a model and a trust problem for a reader.

What we see move

  • Accurate brand facts appearing in answers that previously got them wrong
  • Informational prompts about your product mechanics, where guardrails are lighter
  • Comparison prompts where the cited affiliate page now lists you correctly
  • Brand-name prompts, which respond fastest to entity work
  • Answers that previously cited a competitor’s version of your terms

What rarely moves

  • “Which casino should I join” in tightly regulated markets
  • Prompts where the assistant refuses gambling recommendations outright
  • Head terms already dominated by three entrenched affiliate portals
  • Anything requiring the model to make a licensing judgement
  • Sentiment on a brand with a genuine complaints problem

The model

Where AI visibility sits next to the rest

This is not a replacement for link building. It is the measurement layer that tells the link campaign which pages to go after.

  • CoreAI visibility for iGamingThis page. Prompt tracking, source logging, entity and content work, and a target list of the pages assistants already cite in your market.
  • CoreCasino link buildingThe campaign that acts on the source list. Being cited starts with being present, accurately, on the pages the answer draws from.
  • CoreGambling niche editsThe fastest way to correct what an already-cited page says about you, because the page exists and the publisher only has to edit it.
  • EarnediGaming digital PROriginal data gets quoted. A study with a number attached to your brand is one of the few things that travels into training data and retrieval alike.
  • SupportingCasino contentThe quotable-answer work on your own domain: payout tables, licence explainers, self-contained definitions with dates on them.
  • AdjacentiGaming affiliate link buildingAffiliates have an easier route here than operators, because assistants cite comparison content far more readily than they recommend an operator.
  • IncludedReclamation & correctionsWhen a cited page states something wrong about your brand, we ask the publisher to fix it. Unglamorous, cheap, and the highest-yield action in this whole service.

Surfaces

The four surfaces we track, and how they differ

These behave differently from each other and change without notice. The table below is what we observe in gambling prompts, not documented vendor behaviour, and we re-check it every month.

Observed behaviour on gambling prompts across the four surfaces we track. Based on our own prompt runs, and subject to change whenever a model does.
SurfaceWhat it tends to do on gambling promptsWhat that means for you
ChatGPTAnswers informational gambling questions readily, hedges or declines on direct operator recommendations, and cites sources when browsing is engaged.Win the mechanics and explainer prompts first. Direct “best casino” prompts are the least reliable place to spend effort.
Google AI OverviewsAppears inconsistently on gambling queries and often not at all on commercial ones, drawing heavily on pages already ranking.Closest to classic SEO. If you are not in the top results for the query, you are not in the overview either.
PerplexityCites more sources per answer than the others and leans on comparison and review content. The clearest read on which affiliate pages matter, which makes it our primary source for the outreach target list.
GeminiConservative on gambling, with noticeable variation between markets and languages.Worth tracking per market rather than globally. A prompt that answers in one language may decline in another.

How a programme works

Our AI visibility process

Five steps. The first two are measurement, the last three are the work, and nothing is claimed as a win without the run behind it.

  1. STEP 01Days 1–5

    Prompt set and baseline

We draft the prompts your players actually use, split by market, language and intent, and you approve or rewrite them. Then we run the full set across all four surfaces and record the baseline: mentions, sentiment, refusals and every cited URL.

  2. STEP 02Week 2

    Source audit

We take every URL cited across the baseline and audit what it says about you. Absent, present but wrong, present and correct. That audit becomes the target list for everything that follows.

  3. STEP 03Weeks 2–6

    Entity and content fixes

Your own domain first, because it is the fastest and cheapest thing to change: consistent brand facts, self-contained answers, schema that matches the page, dates and authorship on anything that expires.

  4. STEP 04Ongoing

Corrections and placement on cited sources

We ask publishers to correct what is wrong, and we place on the cited sources where you are absent. This is standard outreach, aimed at a list generated by the tracking rather than by a keyword tool.

  5. STEP 05Monthly

    Re-run and diff

The same prompt set, re-run under the same conditions, compared against the baseline. You get what changed, what we believe caused it, and an explicit list of movement we cannot attribute.

Questions

AI visibility for iGaming FAQ

The questions operators and affiliates ask before committing budget to this. Anything not covered here, ask on the call.

Can you guarantee my brand gets cited by ChatGPT?

No, and neither can anyone else. There is no submission endpoint, no paid inclusion and no ranking API for AI assistants. What you can influence is eligibility: whether your brand facts are consistent, whether your pages state things in a quotable form, and whether the sources an answer already draws on are accurate about you. Any vendor guaranteeing a citation should be asked to explain the mechanism behind the guarantee.

What is GEO, and is it different from what you do?

Generative engine optimisation, answer engine optimisation and LLM visibility are three names for the same activity: making a brand more likely to appear accurately in AI-generated answers. We use the plainer description because the acronyms imply a control over the output that nobody has.

How do you measure it if answers change every time?

By running a fixed prompt set under fixed conditions and repeating it on the same schedule, then reporting the distribution rather than a single result. Every data point carries its prompt, date, model version and market. Variance is real, which is exactly why one screenshot is not evidence and a monthly diff across a full prompt set is.

Does gambling behave differently to other industries here?

Substantially. Assistants apply extra caution to gambling queries, and in several markets they will decline to recommend an operator at all or hedge the answer heavily. Informational prompts about payout mechanics, wagering requirements or licensing behave very differently to “which casino should I join”. We split your prompt set along that line at the start so you can see where the budget is worth spending.

Do links help with AI visibility?

Indirectly, and more than most agencies can act on. Assistants cite pages, and in gambling those pages are mostly affiliate comparisons, trade coverage and community threads. Being present and accurate on a page an answer already cites is the most direct lever available. That is a placement job, which is why this service sits inside a link building agency rather than beside one.

How long does it take to see change?

Brand-fact prompts respond fastest, usually within a re-run or two of the entity work landing. Comparison and recommendation prompts depend on third-party pages changing, which follows the same timeline as outreach: weeks to place, longer to show up in answers. No agency can promise a date, and model updates can move results in either direction independently of anything either of us does.

Which markets and languages can you track?

The ten markets we build links in: the United Kingdom, the United States, Ontario, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the wider Nordics, Spain, Italy, Brazil and India. Prompts are tracked in the language your players use, because a prompt that answers in English may be refused in German.

Will you generate FAQ pages to get into answer boxes?

No. Mass-generated question pages built to bait answer boxes are thin content with a schema wrapper, and they carry the same risk as any other content produced primarily for ranking rather than for readers. We work on the pages you already have, making the claims on them specific, dated and quotable.

Can you improve sentiment as well as mentions?

Where the sentiment comes from inaccurate third-party content, often yes, by getting it corrected. Where it comes from a genuine pattern of player complaints, no, and we will say so rather than sell you a programme that cannot work. We do not create reviews, forum posts or threads to manufacture sentiment under any circumstances.

Do we need to be doing SEO as well?

For Google AI Overviews, yes, more or less directly: the overview draws heavily on pages already ranking, so classic ranking work and overview visibility move together. The other three surfaces are less tied to your own rankings and more tied to what third-party sources say about you.

Do you offer this white-label for agencies?

Yes. Prompt sets, baseline reports, source audits and monthly diffs are delivered unbranded in your template, priced on total volume across your book. See white label link building for agencies.

What do I get before I commit to anything?

A baseline read on twenty prompts in your market, run across all four surfaces, with the cited sources listed. That is enough to see whether your brand appears, who appears instead, and which pages are doing the work. If the answer is that guardrails make your prompts unwinnable, you will hear that on the call.
