iGaming Affiliate Link Building Services

Link building for affiliate sites that have to outrank the brands they promote.

An operator can get a link to its homepage from almost any gambling site. You need links to a comparison page that competes with the publisher’s own revenue. That single difference is why affiliate campaigns stall where operator campaigns coast, and it is what this service is built around: publishers who do not compete with you, assets that earn links on their own, and a target-page map that tells you which of your pages a link will actually move. Every placement carries a 12-month replacement guarantee.

Definition

What is iGaming affiliate link building?

iGaming affiliate link building is the work of earning editorial links to the commercial pages of a gambling affiliate site — casino reviews, best-of lists, bonus hubs and game guides — from publishers with a real gambling readership. It uses the same formats as operator link building, guest posts, niche edits and earned coverage, but it is aimed at a different problem. An operator wants authority on a brand. You want authority on a page that has to beat other affiliates, the operators themselves, and increasingly the operators’ own content teams.

The mechanics are the same. The prospect list is not. A gambling publisher that will happily link to a casino brand often will not link to a comparison page, because that page competes with how the publisher makes its own money. Half the skill in this service is knowing which publishers sit outside that conflict: trade press, community sites, payments and crypto media, sports titles, regional news, and affiliates in adjacent verticals who monetise differently to you.

The other half is deciding what to point the links at. Most affiliate campaigns waste budget pointing every link at the one page the client cares most about, which is usually the hardest page to place and the least likely to accept a link naturally. A campaign that works usually builds directly to guides, tools and individual reviews, then pushes that authority into the money pages internally.

You will hear that affiliates need volume. Sometimes they do. More often they need forty relevant links pointed at the right twelve pages, which is a different order entirely, and considerably cheaper.

Order a package and your target-page map lands in two working days, before we contact a single publisher.

The uncomfortable part

Why affiliate campaigns stall where operator campaigns don’t

If you have run link building for an affiliate site before and it underperformed against the invoice, it was almost certainly one of these three.

RISK 01

Your money pages compete with the publisher

Most gambling publishers monetise exactly the way you do. Asking one to link to your best-online-casinos page is asking it to hand its own conversions to a rival. Editors say no, and outreach that ignores this burns a prospect list.

The fix is not a bigger budget. It is a prospect list built from publishers outside your monetisation, plus links earned to assets rather than to listings.

RISK 02

Everyone in your SERP buys from the same forty sites

The pool of gambling publishers that sell placements is small and well documented. Run a link gap on your top three competitors and you will find the same domains three times over.

Matching that profile does not overtake anyone. It reproduces them. We track which domains already link to the affiliates you are trying to pass, and we treat those as the floor, not the target.

RISK 03

Links cannot rescue a review with no first-hand detail

Google’s spam policies are explicit about content produced primarily to manipulate rankings rather than to help people.Source A casino review assembled from the operator’s own T&Cs is that content, and links pointed at it are money spent lifting a page that has nothing to lift.

We say so before the order, not in month four. If a target page needs original screenshots, real withdrawal timings or a tested bonus flow before it can hold a position, that goes on the map as a content dependency.

The version that works is unglamorous: fewer target pages, publishers who are not your competitors, and content on your side of the link good enough to keep the position once you get it.

Boundaries

What we will not do, at any budget

Worth reading before you brief us, because two of these are things affiliate clients ask for most weeks.

  • Build or rent private blog networks
  • Buy placements from “write for us” pages with a rate card and no named editor
  • Run automated mass outreach with fabricated personalisation
  • Place gambling links on sites with no gambling audience in your market
  • Guarantee rankings, traffic, snippets or AI citations
  • Report a link as live without loading the URL ourselves
  • Point links at a page we do not believe can rank, without telling you first
  • Hide the publisher list from you until the links are already placed

Standards

The 9 checks every publisher clears before we pitch it

You get this scorecard for every prospect, before outreach starts. Strike anything you do not want and we pitch what is left.

  1. The gambling archive is first-partyThe site already covers gambling, betting, poker or adjacent finance in its own voice, with a real archive going back years, not a category bolted on last quarter to sell space.
  2. Traffic is real and stableOrganic trend over 24 months, checked for the sudden spikes that signal a rebuilt expired domain or a blog that switched to selling posts.
  3. Traffic matches your marketsA DR 60 site whose readers are almost all in a country you cannot accept players from is worthless to an affiliate. Country split is a hard filter, not a tie-breaker.
  4. It does not compete with your money pagesThe check that only affiliates need. If the publisher runs its own comparison tables in your vertical and market, the link either will not happen or will not last.
  5. Named authors and an editor who pushes backBylines, an editorial contact, and evidence that pitches get turned down. Sites that accept everything are worth nothing.
  6. Contributed posts are the minorityWe count how much of the recent feed is outside content. A site that is mostly other people’s articles is a marketplace wearing a masthead.
  7. Main feed, no sponsored labellingThe placement publishes where the site’s own content publishes, not in a walled-off partner section.
  8. Not already in your profile, or your rivals’ by defaultCross-checked against your existing referring domains and against the top three affiliates in your SERP, so you are adding reach rather than duplicating theirs.
  9. Indexation confirmed post-placementWe re-check the live URL at 14 and 90 days. Deleted, deindexed or stripped, it gets replaced under the guarantee.

Automatic rejections

  • “Write for us” pages with a rate card and no named editor
  • Blogs where most of the recent feed is contributed posts
  • Private blog networks and any footprint-shared network
  • Expired domains rebuilt to host gambling content
  • Partner or sponsored sections walled off from the main feed
  • Sites running essay mills, CBD and payday loans beside gambling
  • Anything requiring hacked or CMS-exploit placement

What clears review

  • iGaming trade press and B2B media that run contributed columns
  • Poker, betting and casino community sites with editorial teams
  • Sports media with real betting sections and bylined columnists
  • Payments and crypto publications for crypto-facing affiliates
  • Gaming and esports media where betting is first-party coverage
  • Regional news with gambling coverage and named reporters
  • Affiliate portals in adjacent verticals that do not compete with your tables

The model

Where affiliate link building sits next to the rest

Affiliate campaigns almost always run two formats at once. Here is what each one is for, and which of our services it maps to.

  • CoreiGaming affiliate link buildingThis page. The campaign built around an affiliate site’s commercial pages: a target-page map, publishers outside your monetisation, and a format chosen per placement rather than bought by the batch.
  • CoreGambling niche editsPlacement inside articles that already rank and already have readers. The fastest way to move a review page stuck in positions 5 to 15, and the format that works best on affiliate money pages.
  • CoreiGaming guest postingContributed articles where you need to build relevance around a page that has none yet: a new market, a new game vertical, a guide cluster with no links of its own.
  • AdjacentSports betting linksA separate publisher universe with its own seasonality. Relevant if your site covers sportsbooks as well as casino, because the two prospect lists barely overlap.
  • EarnediGaming digital PROriginal data pitched to journalists. The only route to links from publishers who will never sell a placement, and the strongest option for affiliates whose competitors have already bought everything buyable.
  • SupportingCasino contentAssets on your own domain that earn links without outreach: payout databases, licence trackers, RTP tables. For affiliates this is usually the highest-return line in the budget.
  • IncludedReclamation & brand mentionsYour site gets named in forum threads, review roundups and comparison articles without a link. We find those and ask. Cheapest links in any affiliate campaign, and they are included in every order.

Controls

Anchor text for affiliate sites

Affiliate profiles need a different mix to operator profiles, for one reason: you have far less brand search to justify a brand-heavy profile. Here is our default plan, adjusted per order once we have seen what you already have.

Default anchor distribution across an affiliate order. Send us your current profile and we rebalance the mix before outreach.
Anchor typeTarget shareExampleWhy the cap
Branded25–35%YourSite, YourSite.comStill the largest single share, but an affiliate brand with modest search volume carrying a 55% branded profile reads as manufactured rather than earned.
Naked URL8–12%yoursite.comWhat a writer pastes when citing a source. Cheap, natural, and conspicuously absent from most bought profiles.
Generic12–18%here, this guide, full reviewEverywhere in genuine editorial. Nobody paying for a link asks for these, which is exactly why they matter.
Partial match25–35%YourSite’s slot payout guideWhere affiliate campaigns earn their keep. Carries the topic without the exact-match signature, and reads as something a writer would type.
Exact match4–8%best online casinos OntarioReserved for aged, contextual placements on publishers with strong topical fit. Never twice from the same domain, never on a new URL.
Image / alt3–6%Payout tables and screenshots you supplyAn original chart credited back to you is one of the few link types competitors cannot simply buy a copy of.

Targets

Which of your pages should actually get links

The most expensive mistake in affiliate campaigns is pointing everything at the page you most want to rank. This is the map we build from, before the first pitch goes out.

How we allocate external links across an affiliate site, and what gets internal links instead.
Page typeExternal linksWhy
Best-of and comparison pagesSelectiveHighest revenue, hardest to place, and the pages publishers refuse most often. We build here with niche edits and earned links, not volume guest posts, and top up with internal links from everything else.
Individual casino and sportsbook reviewsYesReal search intent, far less competition per page, and publishers treat them as reference rather than as a rival table. The workhorse of most affiliate campaigns.
Guides and explainersYesWagering requirements, RTP, payment methods, licence rules. Easiest pages to place, and they pass authority internally into the money pages that cannot be placed.
Tools and original dataPriorityPayout calculators, licence trackers, RTP databases. The only affiliate pages that earn links with no outreach at all, which makes them the cheapest authority you will ever buy.
Bonus and promo pagesRarelyOffers churn and the URLs go stale. We link to the hub that survives, not the March promo that will 404 by June.
Author and about pagesOccasionallyEntity signals for a site whose reviews carry real bylines. Low volume, and only worth it when your authors have something verifiable behind them.

How an order works

Our iGaming affiliate link building process

Five steps from order to guaranteed placements. You approve the target pages and the publishers before anything is pitched.

  1. STEP 01Day 0

    Order and site review

Pick a package, pay upfront, and send us your site, your markets and the pages you want to move. We pull your existing profile and the profiles of the three affiliates above you. That is the whole onboarding.

  2. STEP 02Days 1–2

    Target-page map and publisher list

You get two documents. The map says which pages get external links, which get internal links, and which need content work first. The list scores every prospect against the 9 checks, with DR, traffic, country split and who edits it.

  3. STEP 03Days 2–10

    Outreach, content and placement

We pitch each publisher a topic or an insertion that fits their readers, write whatever the placement needs, and get it past the editor. Reclamation of unlinked mentions runs alongside, at no extra cost.

  4. STEP 04Days 10–14

    Live check and ledger

We open every URL ourselves, confirm the anchor and the target page, and send the ledger: live URL, anchor, DR, referring domains, organic traffic, date and cost. One row per link, nothing rounded up.

  5. STEP 05To month 12

    Re-checks and replacement

Every placement is re-crawled at 14 days, 90 days and quarterly after that. Removed, deindexed or stripped of its link inside twelve months, and it is replaced free with an equivalent or better placement.

Questions

iGaming affiliate link building FAQ

The questions affiliate owners and the agencies buying for them ask before booking a call. Anything not covered here, ask on the call.

How much does iGaming affiliate link building cost?

Our affiliate link building pricing is $3,500 for 10 placements on DR 30+ gambling publishers ($350 a link) and $5,000 for 10 placements on DR 50+ publishers ($500 a link). Both include the target-page map, the publisher list to approve, reclamation of unlinked mentions, and a 12-month replacement guarantee. Multi-market portfolios, linkable assets and white-label work are quoted as a custom plan. Gambling placements cost more than mainstream links because the pool of publishers that accept the vertical is small, so the ones that do can charge for it.

Do you work with affiliates that compete with each other?

Ask on the call and we will tell you, before you send anything over, whether we are already building for a site that competes with yours in your market and vertical. If we are, you will hear it from us rather than find out later. Where that overlap exists we will say what we can and cannot take on.

Which of my pages should get the links?

That is what the target-page map decides, and it is the first thing you receive. As a rule, individual casino and sportsbook reviews plus guide content take the external links, tools and original data take priority when they exist, and best-of comparison pages are built selectively with niche edits and fed internally from everything else. Pointing every link at your top money page is the most common way affiliate budgets get wasted.

Can you get links straight to my best-of pages?

Some, not many, and that is deliberate. Most gambling publishers monetise the same way you do, so a link to your comparison table sends their revenue to a competitor. The placements that do work on those pages come from publishers outside your monetisation model and from niche edits on aged content. We will tell you the realistic number for your market before you order rather than after.

Do you write the content?

Yes. Guest posts, niche edit insertions and any linkable assets are written in-house by writers who cover gambling, then edited to the publisher’s brief before submission. You approve anchors and target URLs before anything is pitched.

Are the links dofollow?

Yes. Every placement is a standard followed link inside the body of the content. If a publisher insists on a nofollow or sponsored attribute, the placement does not go ahead and does not count against your order.

Will the links stay live?

That is what the guarantee covers. We re-check every placement at 14 days, 90 days and quarterly after that. Anything removed, deindexed, stripped of its link or moved out of the main feed inside twelve months is replaced at no cost with an equivalent or better placement.

How many links does an affiliate site need?

There is no absolute number, and anyone who gives you one is guessing. The useful figure is the gap: how many relevant referring domains the affiliates currently outranking you have that you do not, and how many of those are reachable. We run that gap before you order, and the answer is often smaller than expected once you strip out domains nobody could realistically acquire.

Do you work with new affiliate sites that have no traffic yet?

Yes, and the approach changes. A new site gets links to guides and tools first, because nobody links to a comparison table on a domain with no history. Expect a longer runway and a heavier weighting toward content that earns links on its own rather than placements bought at volume.

Does the approach change for sportsbook affiliates?

The publisher list does, almost entirely. Sports betting placements come from odds portals, tipster sites, fan media and sports desks, and the calendar matters: pitching around a season opener or a major tournament lands, pitching in the off-season does not. If your site covers both casino and sportsbook, we run two prospect lists rather than one.

Which markets can you build in?

We build links in ten markets: the United Kingdom, the United States, Ontario, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the wider Nordics, Spain, Italy, Brazil and India. Publisher inventory is not equal across them, so we tell you what is realistically available in yours before you agree a monthly volume.

Do you offer white-label affiliate link building for agencies?

Yes. Target-page maps, prospect sheets and placement ledgers are delivered unbranded so you can pass them to your client under your own name. Pricing depends on total volume across your book rather than per client. See white label link building for agencies.

How long before we see ranking movement?

Links are live inside 10 to 14 days of your order. Ranking movement comes later, once Google has crawled and re-evaluated the target pages, and competitive affiliate terms usually need several months of sustained acquisition. Timelines vary by market, page strength and competition, and no agency can promise a date. Judge progress on non-brand clicks and position movement on the pages in the map, not on link counts.

Are these links safe for an affiliate site?

Defensible is the better word. Every placement is an editorial link on a site with real editors, real traffic and its own organic rankings. We do not use private blog networks, expired domains, hacked placements or automated outreach. No agency can call a link risk-free, so we document every placement with its URL, anchor and date, which means you can audit or remove any of it later.
